Here’s a fascinating partial set of the popular 1962 Post Cereal Football issues, the gridiron’s answer to the MLB sets that challenged the youth of America to take their scissoring skills to the next level. Those very same youths did OK this time, turning in a pretty decent cutting job on a group that would be described as mostly Very Good to Excellent, with some above and below the range, including about two dozen below Good, mostly to Fair. The 53 missing numbers includes no cards from No. 1-16, another gap from No. 193-200, plus 20 more from 1-100 and the balance above 100.
