Offered is a superb example of the popular 1972-73 Topps Basketball empty box, a striking Ex-Mt specimen, with outstanding colors and sharp, elegant graphics, marking the second year of the company’s return to standard-sized cards after producing oversized “Tall Boys” in 1969 and 1970. The box – 10-Cent Packs, 24 Count – is 8 1/4-by-7 ¼ inches, and 1 1/8 inches deep, and is reinforced with internal Styrofoam as part of its impeccable presentation, carrying the imprimatur and official cellophane wrapping from the fabled Baseball Card Exchange (BBCE).
