Like an adjacent lot of the same artifact, this is a great piece for serious collectors of peripheral Topps football issues, a 29-by-23-inch uncut sheet of the quirky 1971 Topps Posters, a dramatic display of 16 of the 5-by-7-inch posters that were inserted with regular-issue Topps Football that year. The sheet is seemingly as-issued and seemingly problem-free, with vibrant colors and a handsome presentation; there is a tiny corner clipped that is nowhere near any of the poster images. The players pictured are the first 16 numbers of the 32-card series: No. 1 Washington, No. 2 Russell, No. 3 Jackson, No. 4 Namath, No. 5 Tarkenton, No. 6 Osborn, No. 7 Griese, No. 8 Gabriel, No. 9 Levias, No. 10 Starr, No. 11 Hayes, No. 12 Sayers, No. 13 Simpson, No. 14 Brunell, No. 15 Nance and No. 16 Nelson.
