Presented is an imposing group of high-grade Topps basketball cards from the critical period of the 1970s, an array that includes dozens of Hall of Famers and keys seeded within each of the five sets, with almost everything in a sparkling, nearly as-issued condition, mostly Near-Mint or better. The breakdown: 1) 1971 (280) – mostly Near-Mint, with some below and featuring dozens of Hall of Famers, Rookies and keys; 2) 1972 (144) – Ex-Mt to Nr-Mt, with some below; 3) 1975 (74) – two Maravich cards and other HOFers; 4) 1978 (600) – Nr-Mt or better; and 5) 1979 (48) – Nr-Mt or better.
