This is a really cool group of slabbed cards from three of the pioneering early 1950s Parkhurst Hockey sets in an array headlined by three Hall of Famers in PSA 7 holders. The Parkhurst sets hold a particular place in the hearts of serious hockey fans with their classic sets from 1951-63 that helped chronicle the rough-and-tumble age of postwar NHL play. It comes out to six cards from 1952, four from 1953 and one from 1955. Here’s the breakdown: 1) 1952 (6) – No. 14 Harvey – PSA 7, No. 27 – PSA 5, No. 36 – PSA 6, No. 44 – PSA 5, No. 52 – PSA 5 and No. 66 – PSA 6; 2) 1953 (4) – No. 17 – PSA 4, No. 40 Kelly – PSA 7, No. 63 – PSA 8 and No. 64 – PSA 5; and 3) 1955 – No. 55 LaLonde – PSA 7.
