For fans of one of the most beloved franchises in MLB history, here’s an opportunity to pick up literally hundreds of important vintage Tigers cards from three postwar decades, including a significant grouping of the coveted 1952 Topps cards. The lineup features dozens of Hall of Famers and the great stars who dazzled Motor City fans for generations; early years feature a sampling of players from each, while the years after 1960 are closer to full team sets. Here’s a breakdown: 1) 1950-52 Bowman (24) – Good to Very Good, including a 1950 Trout, and 1952 Bowmans of Kell, Evers and Wertz (also a 1935 Diamond Stars No. 40 Ryan – VG); 2) 1952 Topps (27) – mostly Good to Very Good, including two Kells (Good and Poor), Hutchinson (2), Priddy (2), Evers and Rolfe; 3) 1953 Topps and Bowman (4) – Good to Very Good, 1953 Topps Newhouser – Fair, 1953 Bowman Color Garver and Gray, plus 1953 Bowman Black-and-White Hoeft; 4) 1954 Bowman (8) – mostly Very Good, including Pesky, Garver and Hoeft; 5) 1956-62 Topps and Post Miscellaneous Group (6) – 1956 Topps Hoeft, 1960 Topps Kaline (Near-Mint) and Aguirre and Maxwell, 1962 Post Regan and Maxwell; 6) 1961 Topps (32) – mostly Very Good to Excellent, including Cash, Bunning, Colavito, two Teams and six (6) League Leaders (Nos. 41, 42, 43, 44, 46 and 47); 7) 1962 Topps (27) – Very Good to Excellent, with Colavito, Colavito All-Star, Bunning, Cash All-Star, Team card and three League Leaders; 8) 1963 Topps (32) – with Kaline (Ex-Mt), Cash, Colavito, Bunning and two League Leaders; 9) 1964 Topps (32) – mostly Very Good to Ex-Mt, with Lolich, Horton Rookie and Team card; 10) 1965 Topps (37) – Very Good to Ex-Mt, with Northrup Rookie, Cash, Horton, Freehan, Lolich and Dressen; 11) 1966 Topps (24) – Very Good to Ex-Mt, with some below, including Cash, Lolich, Brown, Horton, Dressen, Stanley and McLain; 12) 1967 Topps (27) – Very Good to Excellent, with some below, including Horton, McLain, Freehan, Smith, Lolich and two Team cards; 13) 1968 Topps (23) – Good to Excellent, including Kaline, Lolich, Smith, Cash, Mathews, McAuliffe, Brown, Stanley, Horton and the Team card; 14) 1969 Topps (36) – Good to Excellent, with McLain, Lolich, Smith, McAuliffe, Cash, Horton, Wilson, Brown, two All-Stars, three League Leaders and all eight (8) World Series subset Nos. 162-169; 15) 1970 Topps (24) – Excellent to Near-Mint, with some below; 16) 1971 Topps (37) – Good to Excellent with Ex-Mt Kaline; 17) 1972 Topps (20) – Excellent to Ex-Mt, with some below and Ex-Mt-Plus Kaline; 18) 1973 Topps (24) – Very Good to Excellent; 19) 1974 Topps (36) – Excellent to Ex-Mt; 20) 1975 Topps (21) – Excellent to Near-Mint; 21) 1976 Topps (31) – Ex-Mt to Near-Mint; and 22) 1977 Topps (21) – mostly Near-Mint.
