This is a large group of primarily vintage Topps football cards, including more than 160 Hall of Famers and many of the biggest stars of several eras, with the vast majority in a nice collectible condition range that improves significantly with the passing of each decade. Broadly speaking, the Topps cards from the 1960s are Good to Very Good, the 1970s Ex-Mt to Near-Mint and the 1980s essentially Near-Mint and Nr-Mt to Mt (some condition anomalies noted in the listing below). The breakdown (Topps unless otherwise indicated): 1) 1959 Karras Rookie – Very Good; 2) 1962 (18) – mostly Very Good, including Taylor (2), Nomellini, St. Clair and Jordan; 3) 1964-67 Philadelphia Gum (24) – with Unitas, Ditka, Tarkenton, Olsen and seven Team cards; 4) 1964 (31) – with Alworth; 5) 1968 (70) – 17 Hall of Famers; 6) 1971 (215) – with 55 HOFers, including Unitas (3), Tarkenton (2) and Jurgensen (2); 7) 1972 (90) – mostly Very Good to Ex-Mt, with 26 HOFers; 8) 1974 (38) – Excellent to Ex-Mt, with some below, with 20 HOFers, including Unitas (3) and Simpson (4); 9) 1975 (400) – from vending, mostly Nr-Mt to Mt, with some below and 20 HOFers; 10) 1976 (150) – Nr-Mt to Mt, with some below, with 24 HOFers; 11) 1981 (43) – Nr-Mt to Mt, with some below and 36 HOFers, including Bradshaw (7), Dorsett (5), Harris (4), Griese (5), Sims Rookie (3) and Winslow Rookie (3); 12) 1982 (25) – Near-Mint to Mint; 13) 1984 (47) - Long Rookie, Payton m/c, Harris (5) and Warren Rookie; 14) 1985 (54) – mostly Nr-Mt, with some below, including Marino (3) and Dickerson (4); 15) 1987 (19); 16) 1989 (39) – with Bo Jackson (2), Marino (2) and Elway; 17) 1984-85 Topps Glossy (23); 18) 1970 Topps Game (40) – Ex-Mt to Nr-Mt, with Payton, Starr, Griese (5), Bradshaw (3) and Butkus (2); and 19) Miscellaneous 1952-57 Topps and Bowman (23) – early Bowmans are Poor to Fair, including Layne and Walker, plus 1957 Topps (11) – Fair, and three Kellogg’s.
