Hard to beat an aggregation of more than 600 pristine cards from the most popular athlete of the postwar era, Michael Jordan, an array that has a bit of duplication, but who minds duplication when it’s MJ? The man who has had more cards made of him that probably any athlete in history is presented here in spectacular fashion in regular-issue cards from all the major manufacturers, complemented handsomely by a boatload of shiny inserts, subset cards, die-cuts, holograms, minor-league baseball cards and personal sets devoted entirely to Michael. The lineup includes three of the “Cut Above” Jordan sets from Upper Deck (32 cards each), and 15 full sets of the 1984 Olympics Dream Team subset from Hoops, with Michael rubbing elbows with the likes of Bird, Barkley, Magic, Pippen, Robinson and Miller.
