From the granddaddy of all baseball card issues comes this T206 White Border Christy Mathewson White Cap, one of many important key cards from the legendary set, found here in a PSA 1.5 holder, a card that presents nicely, with a spectacular rendering of the soft pastel blue and green background. One of three Mathewson varieties in the fabled issue, this White Cap example has decent centering left to right and a noticeable bias to the bottom; the Piedmont 150 back is very presentable, with some light staining, creating a nice presentation of the delicate blue printing.
