From the granddaddy of all baseball card issues comes this T206 White Border Addie Joss Pitching card, one of many important key cards from the legendary set, found here in a PSA 1 holder. The card front has some creasing and paper loss that only minimally detracts from the pastel yellow that showcases the Joss Portrait, adding a special significance to a card issued just prior to the Hall of Famer’s death from meningitis in 1911. One of two Joss varieties in the fabled issue and the more difficult and expensive of the two, this example has decent centering and heavily rounded corners; the Sovereign 350 back reveals some significant staining and toning.
