From the granddaddy of all baseball card issues comes this T206 White Border Christy Mathewson White Cap, one of many important key cards from the legendary set, found here in a PSA 1 (mk) holder, with the qualifier resulting from a youngster’s clumsy pencil work in attempting to give the Hall of Famer a mustache. One of three Mathewson varieties in the fabled issue, this White Cap example has decent centering all the way around, with some modest staining on the Piedmont 150 back.
