Here’s a fascinating gamer linked to veteran major league outfielder/DH Tom Grieve, a blazing home knit that was made for Grieve in late 1977 with tagging for 1978. By that time Grieve had been traded to the Mets in a multi-player deal, leaving behind this sensational jersey. The shirt has the two-button front round neck, with blue/white/red collar and sleeve accents. The Rangers team patch is on the left sleeve, with a beautiful jersey front with “Rangers” in two-color drop-shadow tackle twill. All elements are intact and original. Wilson Size 44 labeling is at the collar with “78 1” team swatch alongside. Grieve enjoyed a nine-year stint in the majors through the 1970s, finishing with a .245 average, 65 home runs and 254 RBI.
