This is the eleventh in a series of elegant sterling-silver season pass pendants, the second of three pendants featuring the whimsical and playful designs of acclaimed illustrator Charles Dana Gibson. Offered is an utterly charming and blazing Near-Mint to Mint 1 ¼-by-1 ¾-inch depiction of three comical fans in the stands eagerly awaiting the resolution of a tense, two-out, bases full, three balls and two strikes situation, with those four qualifiers engraved on the pendant between the three fans. The “Giants 1930” in all caps appears at the bottom directly above “Chas A. Stoneham Pres.” The back is in Ex-Mint condition and is engraved with the pass owner’s name, “Frank Craven” along with the serial number “271” and “Lambert Bros. N.Y. Sterling” at the bottom. The piece is yet another important artifact that is as rare as it is coveted, enhanced by the wonderful Gibson artwork.
