Presented is a handsome partial set of the popular 1960 Topps Football issue, an easily Ex-Mt to Near-Mint array that includes almost all of the key Hall of Famers, stars and Specials. Two of the keys have been third-party slabbed and authenticated: No. 1 Unitas – SGC 5.5 and No. 23 Brown – SGC 3. The lot represents 71 percent of a complete set; the condition range comes out to 16 percent Near-Mint, 60 percent Ex-Mt, 13 percent Excellent, 9 percent Very Good to VG-Ex, and just a handful of cards below. About ¼ of the group has the kind of centering that might typically prompt thoughts of an upgrade, though not all of those would be severe enough to dictate a formal off-center designation.
