Here is a complete set of the quirky 1970 Kellogg’s Baseball issue, the 2 ¼-by-3 ½-inch 3D cards that were one of the most significant non-Topps peripheral sets of the era. This was the first year that the cereal company produced the cards that were distributed in specially marked boxes of Kellogg’s cereals; the complete sets were also available through mail-in offers directly from the company. Because of the unique layering of plastic sheets, cracking was always a condition concern, making these Near-Mint to Near-Mint to Mint sets all the more enticing. The Hall of Famer roster of a relatively small issue is considerable (24): Rose, McCovey, Seaver, Sutton, Mays, Marichal, Frank Robinson, Brooks Robinson, Perry, Aparicio, Clemente, Stargell, Jackson, Williams, Banks, Santo, Brock, Carew, Kaline, Bench, Killebrew, Oliva, Gibson and Morgan.
