Presented is a nominally searched vending box from the historic 1980 Topps Baseball set, the important issue that ended up being the final one produced in Topps’ 25-year monopoly atop the baseball card business. The pristine beauties boast absolutely stunning colors and gloss and while Rickey Henderson’s Rookie may be among the MIA’s in this lightly searched box, the count is still 500 and there are plenty of the usual suspects present, including Schmidt (2), Yastrzemski (2), Bench (2), Carew (2), Dawson, Murray, Morgan, McCovey, Carlton and Stargell, to name a few. As might be expected, the array has some of the customary centering issues that confront vending accumulations.
