This is a nice condition partial set of the historic 1960 Fleer Football issue, the company’s first professional football issue and the set that commemorates the inaugural season of the American Football League. Given those circumstances, many of the cards in the set are Rookies, though almost ¼ of the players never actually played a professional game. The partial set is broadly Ex-Mt to Near-Mint, with some below, mostly to Excellent or VG-Ex. As the company’s first effort at a major mainstream issue, centering not surprisingly could be a concern, and so about three dozen cards in this array have the kind of centering that might typically prompt thoughts of an upgrade, though not all of those would be severe enough to dictate a formal off-center designation.
