This is a simply stunning aggregation of the elegant 1918-57 Baseball Magazine (M114) Premiums that showcased many of the greatest ballplayers from several generations. The black-and-white and sepia-toned photographs measure 9 ½-by-12 inches and were offered as a half-dozen in exchange for a subscription to the magazine and also available for 25 cents each. Many of the most famous photographers of the age were featured in the issue, including Charles Martin Conlon and George Burke, along with many of the prominent news services listed in the photo credits.
