This is a simply spectacular artifact promoting the vast arsenal of Hostess Baking Co. concoctions, from a yummy Hostess empire that featured a roster of Cupcakes, Snack Cakes, Crumb Cakes and Twinkies, to offer a taste, and the nature of the distribution makes unusual promotional pieces like this particularly coveted. The display is a whopping 19 inches high, 17 inches wide and 8 inches front to back, with the delicate pennant flags in the stadium setting vulnerable to wear. It colorfully depicts kids and cartoon characters on the field, surrounded by advertising chants of “Hey Kids! Free Baseball Cards,” along with mentions of its sponsor and Twinkies and Hostess Cupcakes. It is probably Good to Very Good with some small creasing; in addition, one of the pennant flags is present but detached.
