Here are a half-dozen empty case boxes from Topps in the 1970s, boxes that reveal the kind of expected wear and tear you might expect but are still largely functional. The case boxes are from vending and wax and typically bear the mailing labeling from Topps and internal company notations from the recipient, the legendary Larry Fritsch Cards in Stevens Point. Wis. Here’s the breakdown (6): 1) 1971 Topps Football Series One Vending Box Case, 24/500 – 19-by-12 inches and 10 ½ inches high – Fair condition; 2) 1971 Topps Hockey Vending Box, 24/500 – 19-by-12 inches and 10 ½ inches high – Poor; 3) 1976 Topps Hockey Wax Box Case, 4 Boxes/36 Count – outstanding condition (Good), 8-by-11 inches, 5 inches high; 4) 1978 Topps Football Wax Box Case, 15 Box/24 Count, 22-by-9 inches, 10 inches high, really nice condition (Good), with a few minor dents and tape residue; 5) 1979 Topps Football Wax Box Case, 3 Box, 24 Count, 12 ½-by-9 ½ inches, 9 inches high, Fair; and 6) 1979 Topps Baseball Rack Packs Case, 6 Boxes/24 Count (39 cards per pack), 18-by-13 inches, 9 inches high, Fair.
