If you are looking for an unimprovable Kirby Puckett game-used bat, your search ends here. In addition, it’s a rare P89 model number and is boldly signed by Puckett on the barrel in black Sharpie. The bat is uncracked and exhibits evidence of heavy use with checking (grain swelling) on the left barrel from repeated contact. Many ball marks and ball stitch impressions are visible on the left, front and back of the barrel, including blue ink transfers on all sides of the barrel. The bat is made of Ash, dates to 1992-93, measures 35 inches long and weighs 31.2 ounces. Blue and green bat rack marks and cleat marks are also visible. Puckett’s stylish number “34” is written on the knob in black marker with a series of dots surrounding it, making this arguably the best Puckett gamer in the hobby. PSA/DNA’s John Taube agreed and assigned this a perfect GU-10 grade.
