This is yet another condition-sensitive issue, with the “burlap” borders that reveal wear a bit more distinctly than other offerings. This grouping is not unlike some sets that you find in older collections, often with a noticeable improvement in grades as the series go forward. In this instance, the prevailing grade range is largely Very Good to Ex-Mt, certainly in the earlier series, with some above and below the range; as the series continue, the range probably moves closer to Very Good to Nr-Mt, with a significant number of Nr-Mt blazers turning up after the Fourth Series. Checklist cards from the first five series wind up with a technical grade of Poor because of having boxes marked in pen or pencil, but present in better fashion.
