This “Baseball in the 1950s” book literally walks collectors through baseball history, with signatures connected to nearly every image within. This was obviously a project someone devoted many years to assembling, with nearly 700 signatures in total from some of baseball’s most elusive names, with 120 HOF signatures by our count. Included are signatures from Jackie Robinson, Nellie Fox, Ken Boyer, Satchel Paige, Hank Greenberg, Mickey Mantle, Ted Williams, Joe DiMaggio, Hank Aaron, Willie Mays, Joe McCarthy and many more, with multiples of many. The book offers unbelievable break-up value for a collector if they choose, or an amazing conversation piece if kept together. About one-third signed directly on the page, with most others being cut signatures affixed with stamp adhesives so they are easy to remove. All signatures are pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
