One of the more unusual arrangements for a Topps Basketball issue, the 1981-82 set consists of 110 cards, plus additional 44-card runs of Nos. 67-110, constituting a master set with the East, West and Midwest groupings. This is a super clean, consistent and uniform set, basically Nr-Mt, with a handful of cards perhaps edging to Ex-Mt, and the Hall of Famers and stars falling within the overall Nr-Mt range. These cards are essentially problem free, with blazing bright colors and good photo registration. Perhaps a couple of dozen cards might prompt centering upgrades; many of those fall within the Nos. 67-110 groupings from the three regions. This is a wonderful specimen of a master set of one of the company’s unusual set configurations.
