Michael Jordan signed this first base in black Sharpie, with the signature being authenticated by BAS with a full LOA. The base was part of the 5th annual auction "A Time To Reach Out" gala in 1994 while Jordan was playing minor league baseball with the Birmingham Barons. Our consignor was told that this was from a set of game-used bases from one of Jordan's games, with the home plate and first base included in the auction and second and third base remaining in Jordan's possession. The base arrives with a really nice, but heavy display case, a pamphet given out at the auction and a letter from The Michael Jordan Foundation, along with the BAS certification.
