From the granddaddy of all baseball card issues comes this T206 White Border Fred Clarke Portrait card, one of many key cards from the legendary set, found here in a PSA 4 holder, a condition markedly better than these cards are typically encountered in mature collections. The card presents in outstanding fashion, with an imposing portrait image of the great Hall of Famer whose career spanned the 18th and 19th centuries. One of two Clarke varieties in the fabled issue, this example has decent centering with attractive white borders and an uncommonly crisp and clean Piedmont 150 back.
