This is a special grouping, a significant array of the iconic 1950 Bowman Baseball issue representing about 35 percent of a complete set, with almost ¾ of the group in outstanding mostly Excellent to Near-Mint or Near-Mint to Mint condition and only two dozen or so falling below the range, most to VG-Ex. The array is headlined by seven Hall of Famers, along with many of the greatest stars of the era, including Phil Rizzuto, Warren Spahn, Early Wynn, Leo Durocher, Richie Ashburn, George Kell, Luke Appling and others, plus two of the key Rookie cards from this classic Bowman issue of Sam Jethroe and Hank Thompson. The array is in markedly better condition than these coveted 2 1/16-by-2 ½-inch treasures are typically found in older accumulations, providing a striking presentation and a great opportunity to launch on building a high-grade example of this key early Bowman issue or to upgrade an existing one.
