This is one of the classic Topps Baseball sets of the 1960s and you could hardly find this treasured artifact in a more stunning presentation than this uniformly Near-Mint to Mint or better blazer. With nearly 2/3 of the total safely entombed in PSA 8 or better slabs and almost all of the raw cards seemingly in matching Near-Mint to Mint condition, this is by far and away the nicest 1964 Topps set that we have ever handled. Ranked No. 37 on the vaunted PSA Set Registry at 62 percent complete, the elegant accumulation boasts 13 PSA 9s and seven PSA 8.5s to go along with an unbelievable 343 PSA 8s. Amid such regal numbers, the PSA 8 No. 50 Mickey Mantle is, as they say in the trade, sold separately, and on deck here as a solo entry in this auction and has been replaced the pictured PSA 6.
