Offered is a truly outstanding Chicago Bulls game-worn home jersey from the team’s inaugural season, an historic artifact from the launch of a franchise that would decades later reign atop the basketball world. This white durene home shirt has Rawlings Size 42 labeling on the inside back-left tail, with wash instructions labeling alongside. The shirt, worn by journeyman Gerry Ward, has the iconic 3D red-on-black tackle twill identifiers for Bulls on the front and No. 6 front and back, with the back number sitting high, matching exemplars, along with the five-stripe, three-color neck and arm yokes trim. The jersey is attributed to that historic, inaugural season because during that year there was no side trim or piping. The shirt shows excellent, season-long wear and is an important piece of memorabilia from an historic season.
