This is an intriguing artifact from Major League Baseball’s centennial season in 1969, an empty case that at one time housed the likes of Mickey Mantle, Willie Mays, Henry Aaron and Co., all to good effect. The empty case of 24 boxes with 24 packs per box is in highly presentable condition, essentially Excellent-Plus, jostled only by someone writing in marker “Very Small Baby Jars” at one end. The absence of hyphens leads us to wonder if it held small babies or small jars, but it probably doesn’t matter either way.
