Here’s an impressive game-worn home knit Cincinnati Reds jersey from Hall of Famer Barry Larkin, a treasure that features a just-as-imposing Larkin autograph on the center of the jersey front. It’s a marvelous early-career piece from the 12-time All-Star, 1995 National League MVP and seven-time Silver Slugger winner, showing light wear. Shirt has stretch-ribbed V-neck with red/white/red, same as on sleeve ends. Left sleeve has the All-Star Game patch affixed in small, tight zig-zag stitching. Larkin’s famed No. 11 appears front and back and NOB in red-on-white polytwill, with NOB sewn directly to the shirt. Rawlings Size 42 label appears at the front-right inner tail, with “Set 1 1988” flap tag. It’s an important artifact from one of the beloved Reds figures, a shirt that is markedly more difficult than those from later in his legendary career.
