1993 Johnny Hector New York Jets Game-Worn Helmet

Presented is a handsome piece from a veteran New York Jets running back in the 1980s and early 1990s, Johnny Hector, who compiled 4,280 rushing yards and 44 touchdowns for the team during his 10-year tenure from 1983-92. The Jets green helmet has the impregnated Riddell shell, with internal padding system and Size 7 1/8 Sticker in the crown. It has the 1992 Recon sticker in the crown and 1/90 stamping in the crown. The outer shell is Jets green with stylized Jets print logo on each side of the shell. The back bumper sports an unhinged Jets logo and the inner shell houses the NFL Shield Warning Sticker. It also features the “90” sticker from Sept. 5, 1993, when the club honored Dennis Byrd, who was severely injured the previous November and never played in the NFL again. The important helmet is very complete and shows solid wear inside and out.
