This Sept. 7, 1928 typed letter is signed by Herbert Hoover in fountain pen on his own stationary. The letter is written to W.A. Sunday and reads, "Your letter of August 13 has just reached me with the invitation to visit Winona Lake during the latter part of September. I should enjoy being with you, but engagements already scheduled make this impossible." The signature is authenticated by BAS with a full LOA.
