This OAL Cronin ball is not only single-signed by Lefty Grove, but is also inscribed by Grove that is was used to throw out the first pitch Game 4 of the 1972 World Series. The inscription in Grove's hand reads, "First Ball Thrown Out in the 4 game of World Series 1972 by Lefty Grove." The grades a strong "8" while the ball includes several toned spots, possibly where it was gripped by Grove during the ceremony. The signature is authenticated by PSA/DNA with a full LOA. The ball was obtained from a family member of someone who accompanied Lefty Grove to the Hall of Fame.
