This undated, handwritten Joe McCarthy one-page letter is in response to a fan letter and features McCarthy's full signature at the bottom. The letter reads, "Thanks so much for your nice letter and picture. They did bring back some pleasant memories. I never did see some of pictures but do remember where they were taken. Thanks again. I think if you write the Hall of Fame at Cooperstown they coudl give you Sam Rice address. Nice to know you are one of my good fans. Sincerely yours, Joe McCarthy." The signature is authenticated by PSA/DNA with a basic COA, while the letter has a discolored outline around the edge, which could be cropped out for framing.
