This four-page, foldout American League baseball contract is dated January 18, 1941 for Jerry Priddy and dates to his rookie season with the New York Yankees. The contract features signatures from William Harridge (his approval is date stamped to April 14, 1941), Ed Barrow and Gerald Priddy, with Barrow also including his initials inside the contract to approved the $5000 salary. Priddy would bat .213 for the Yankees that season on their way to the World Series victory over the Dodgers.
