Tom Casanova played for the Bengals from 1972 – 1976 and for LSU in college. He’s now an ophthalmologist in Crowley, Louisiana. He’s also a Republican former member of the Louisiana State Senate, having served from 1996 to 2000.
Franco Harris needs no introduction. A Steeler from 1972 – 1983, he won 4 Super Bowls and was Super Bowl IX MVP among many other honors: 1972 AFC Rookie of the Year, 1970s NFL All-Decade team, 1976 Walter Payton Man of the Year, 9x pro bowler, and more.
Jeff Kinney went to Nebraska (champs in 1970-71) and played for the Chiefs (1972 – 76) and Bills(1976).
Walt Patulski went to Notre Dame and played for the Bills (1972–75) and Cardinals (1976-77). All-American and Lombardi Award Winner.
Mike Siani went to Villanove and played for the Raiders (1972–77) and Colts (1986-80).
Jim Bertelsen went to Texas (champs in 1969) and played for the Rams (1972–76).
Willie Buchanon went to San Diego State and played for the Packers (1972–78) and the Chargers (1979 – 1982). He’s a 3x pro-bowler, 1972 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year, and in the Packers HOF.
Chester Marcol was the kicker for the Packers (1972–80). He’s a 2x pro-bowler, the 1972 NFC Rookie of the Year, and in the Packers HOF.
Ed Marinaro played for the Vikings (1972–75), Jets (1976), and Seahakws (1977). He became an actor after football and was on the cast of Hill Street Blues.
John Reaves went to Florida and played for the Eagles (1972–74), Bengals (1975-78), Vikings (1979-80), Oilers (1981), and Bucs (1987).
