Some of the greatest players to don Toronto’s blue and white and bring fans to their feet at Maple Leaf Gardens in the 1950’s, ‘60s and ‘70s are captured in this superb work of art created by artist Paul Madden in the 1990’s. Titled “The Maple Leafs”, the piece measures 39” by 18” and is enhanced by the blue sharpie autographs of Darryl Sittler, Red Kelly, George Armstrong, Frank Mahovlich, Lanny McDonald, Allan Stanley and Johnny Bower who signed beneath their respective images. Also signed by the artist, the wonderful display piece is deserving of a choice spot on the wall of a proud Leafs’ fan. Piece hand-numbered 655/1000.
