TLS, one page, 6.25 x 8.5, personal letterhead with gilt-embossed eagle letterhead, September 23, 1992. Reagan writes to Mickey Rooney. In part: “Nancy and I send our warmest congratulations on your birthday. We hope that you have a grand celebration on this joyous occasion and that you will share many special memories with family and friends. May the joy of the day be reflected in the happiness that will be yours in the years to come.” Reagan and Rooney co-starred in a 1961 episode of the Dick Powell Show titled “Who Killed Julie Greer?” Accompanied by the original mailing envelope. In very fine condition (including no mailing fold). A great association with Reagan’s entertainment career! Signature is authenticated by PSA/DNA and has been graded a perfect, Gem Mint 10, which is extremely rare for Reagan's signature. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
