For fans of the beloved Hall of Famer Richie Ashburn – and they are legion – this is a special opportunity to pick up dozens of vintage cards from his career along with a number of unique items that celebrate the career on and off the field of Philadelphia’s Phavorite son. Start it all off with a Near-Mint condition single-signed baseball (ONL White) in a holder, with Ashburn ballpoint signature, and then add in the stunning artwork of the famed Dick Perez on a 9-by-14-inch print (No. 112/850) with pencil signatures from both iconic figures and you’re off to a good start. That Perez painting comes in an elaborate gold frame that extends the dimensions to 19-by-13 inches. There’s also a marvelous 11-by-14-inch color photograph of Ashburn from his early years with the Phillies, with the photo presenting in Excellent condition but technically graded below that because of tiny pinholes that are barely noticeable.
