Presented here is one of the unique Topps efforts of the era, the quirky “burlap” background 1968 Topps issue that bedevils condition-conscious collectors. It is offered here in a relatively wide condition range, essentially VG-Ex to Nr-Mt with some below, but with an emphasis of Very Good to Ex-Mt. Hall of Famers, stars and specials generally fall within the broader condition range and three cards have been third-party slabbed and authenticated. The key Nolan Ryan No. 177 Rookie is in an SGC 70 holder, No. 280 Mantle is an SGC 50 and No. 280 is a PSA 5.
