This is a chance to pick up a nice example of the final set of the 1960’s decade, the colorful 1969 issue that heralded the beginning of the modern era of Major League Baseball and the departure of one of the most beloved figures of the postwar period: Mickey Mantle. This example has perhaps a bit wider condition range than you might typically expect, essentially Very Good to Nr-Mt, with emphasis probably Excellent to Ex-Mt overall. Two of the keys from the issue have been third-party entombed and adjudicated: No. 500 Mantle is an SGC 30 and No. 533 Nolan Ryan is an SGC 50.
