This enormous lot provides the winning bidder the opportunity to essentially collect the entire Topps production run of mainstream baseball issues for most of the last four decades. Ultimately, that means tens of thousands of Topps pasteboards, with virtually everything from the modern period in unimprovable Nr-Mt to Mint or better condition, with a huge number of the sets in factory-sealed uncirculated boxes, many with the original protective cellophane intact and with multiples of some sets as indicated in the breakdown below. Starting with 1976 (660), the set is in essentially Excellent to Ex-Mt condition, with Hall of Fames and keys within the overall range; 1977 (660) – Very Good to Near-Mint with some below and the emphasis Excellent to Ex-Mt; 1978 (726) – Excellent to Near-Mint, with some below and the emphasis Ex-Mt, with three Murray Rookies, one SGC 80 and two Ex-Mt; 1979 (726) – Excellent to Near-Mint, with some below and the emphasis Ex-Mt; 1981 (726) – Ex-Mt to Near-Mint, with some below and emphasis Near-Mint. For sets from 1982 to present, cards are either Near-Mint to Mint or simply Mint; many are in factory-sealed boxes and have yet to have seen the light of day after so many years.
