In 1974 Sports Illustrated offered their readers the opportunity to purchase six limited edition lithographs. The theme of the lithographs was that of "Immortal Moments of Sports" with artwork featured by some of this country’s top illustrators including Gustav Rehberger, Harvey Dinnerstein, Bob Peak, Daniel Schwartz and Bernie Fuchs. The printing of those lithographs was limited to 1,500 numbered copies, and all were autographed by the featured "legends" in pencil across the bottom white border. Offered here is one of the most coveted prints from that series featuring Joe DiMaggio by artist Harvey Dinnerstein. It has been signed by DiMaggio in pencil along the bottom white border (9/10) and numbered “912/1500”. The framed lithograph appears to be in Near Mint condition and measures 22" by 18". Framed to overall size of 21” by 25” with original label on reverse providing production and signing details. Signature is authenticated by PSA/DNA with a full LOA.
