This group of 1983 Donruss Hall of Fame Heroes includes 29 cards with a total of 34 signatures, including two of the really tough ones: Joe Cronin and Red Ruffing; along with two Mickey Mantle signed cards. Seven are in PSA/DNA slabs: No. 7 Mantle, No. 9 Ted Williams, No. 31 Ruffing, No. 32 Stan Musial, No. 42 Early Wynn, No. 43 Mantle and unnumbered Checklist signed by Ralph Kiner, Stan Musial, Charlie Gehringer and Carl Hubbell. Two additional cards are offered in SGC slabs and authenticated by JSA, including No. 20 Cronin and a Checklist signed by Bobby Thomson, Carl Erskine and Enos Slaughter. There is also one GAI slabbed Checklist signed by Dick Perez, who did all of the artwork for the set. The rest of the signed card lineup includes: Robin Roberts, Hank Greenberg, Carl Hubbell, Burleigh Grimes, Johnny Mize, Al Kaline, Gehringer, Hank Aaron, Bill Dickey, Bob Lemon, Bob Feller, Lou Boudreau, Monte Irvin, Frank Robinson, Luke Appling, Yogi Berra, Duke Snider, Ralph Kiner and James "Cool Papa" Bell. With Cronin and Ruffing, this means that the set is as complete as possible.
