Having disciplined opposing pitchers with Hillerich & Bradsby and Adirondack bats during his career, former National League great Pete Rose made the switch to Japan's "Mizuno" weapons beginning in 1978. This brownish-hued bat honored Rose's National League-record 3,631st career hit—which was delivered at Veterans Stadium on August 10, 1981. Back in action for the first time after a lengthy player's strike that night, Rose shattered Stan Musial's Senior Circuit standard. Measuring 34-1/2", the unused and uncracked item sports a flare knob retaining even its manufacturing sticker at mid-handle. Signature authenticated by PSA/DNA with a basic COA.
