Standard 3 x 5-inch index card signed on the reverse in blue ballpoint pen by former Yankees captain Thurman Munson. Munson's signature has been boldly scripted in grandiose style, measuring four inches in length, and contrasts beautifully against the light surface of the card. The signature grades a Mint "9" and is authenticated by PSA/DNA with a full LOA. Munson was never known as a prolific signer during his playing career and normally shunned the attention of the fans. That fact, combined with his untimely death in 1979 at the age of thirty-two, has resulted in the scarcity of Munson-signed items today. This is an outstanding signature example of one of the game's greatest modern legends.
