This Rawlings Big Stick black bat was used by Wade Boggs during the 1996 season. It's a model 456B and weighs 35 oz. with a trace of pine tar on the handle and around the center brand, along with some grain swelling and ball transfer marks on the barrel. Boggs signed the bat on the barrel in silver Sharpie, adding "96" under his signature, which is authenticated by JSA with a full LOA. Light, but clear use overall and dating to Boggs' 1996 season with the Yankees that ended with a World Series title.
