On May 5, 1961, America launched the historic beginnings of the space program. The Mercury astronauts have celebrated those historic beginnings with this limited edition lithograph signed by John Glenn, Alan Shepard, Wally Schirra, Gordon Cooper, Deke Slayton, Scott Carpenter and Betty Grissom (who signed for Gus). The litho measures 25x35 with a one-inch border and is numbered 1237/1500. Each pencil signature has been pre-certified by PSA/DNA and arrives with the COA from the Mercury Seven Foundation dated August 6, 1991. This lithograph has three water stains along the top edge, with the worst one in the top left corner, but could hidden if matted.
