This one-page typed letter is signed by president Harry Truman in black ink. The letter is dated Sept. 4, 1958 on his personal stationary. The letter is written to Hon. John W. Snyder and reads, " Enclosed is a copy of the statement on the Bank and the Fund which I made at my press conference in Chicago. I hope that it s entirely satisfactory to you. Sincerely Yours, Harry Truman." Two horizontal folds from mailing and a staple hole through the top left corner are the only flaws.
